Umar Tahir

Umar Tahir has a diverse work experience that spans several companies and roles. In 2018, they began their career as a Teaching Assistant at the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences, where they provided support for advanced programming and assembly language courses.

In 2018, they also worked as a Software Engineer at Systems Limited, where they refactored payment methods in a payment gateway solution, resulting in faster transaction times and client growth. Umar also contributed to java solution releases for a telecommunication company in Dubai.

From 2019 to 2020, Umar worked at NorthBay Solutions as a Software Engineer. During this time, they modernized an outdated legacy system to Java, reducing business costs by 13% and increasing annual revenue by 14%. Umar Tahir attended the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences from 2013 to 2018, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
