Maeve Hanafin

Maeve Hanafin currently serves as a Technical Project Manager at GridX, Inc., beginning in April 2025. Prior to this role, Maeve was a Senior Project Manager at Tanko Lighting from October 2019 to April 2025, overseeing teams to deliver numerous energy-efficient streetlight projects and managing the design of over 10,000 streetlights. Additional experience includes project coordination at Basics Environmental, Inc., where Maeve conducted Environmental Transaction Screens and Phase I assessments, assistance with data preparation and mapping at the Energy and Resource Group at UC Berkeley, and engagement in research activities as an Undergraduate Research Assistant. Maeve held various leadership roles during undergraduate studies at UC Berkeley, including Program Director for the Cal Alumni Association and Vice President of Programming for the Delta Gamma Fraternity. Maeve holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science with a minor in Geospatial Information Science and Technology from the University of California, Berkeley.
