Michael Pirro

Michael Pirro is a highly experienced rates and regulatory utility professional, currently serving as the Sr. Director of Rate Design at Gridx, Inc., where they lead the development and implementation of innovative rate design solutions to support the clean energy transition. Previously, they held various roles, including Director of Pricing and Regulatory Solutions at Duke Energy Corporation and Principal Rates and Regulatory at Florida Power & Light, where they managed significant budget and regulatory strategies. With extensive experience in rate case proceedings and testifying, Michael has collaborated with numerous stakeholders to achieve effective pricing and regulatory outcomes across multiple jurisdictions. They began their career at National Grid / Niagara Mohawk, where they progressed through roles focusing on regulatory and rates analysis. Michael is pursuing further education at LeMoyne College.
