Peter Wood

Peter Wood is an experienced engineering manager currently overseeing the Infrastructure and TechOps Teams at Griffin since April 2022, after transitioning from an individual contributor role in compute, storage, databases, and networking. Prior to joining Griffin, Peter was a Senior Software Engineer at BBC from May 2015 to April 2022, where responsibilities included leading the development of a machine learning platform for content enrichment and championing microservices architectures. Peter's earlier experience includes a Network Security Specialist role at Lancaster University, focusing on operational network security, and a position as a Specialist Technical Support Engineer at Macrovision Europe. Peter holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Staffordshire, earned between 2000 and 2004.
