Henry Chen

Henry Chen is an accomplished medical science liaison with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Currently at Grifols since April 2017, Chen previously held similar roles at Boehringer Ingelheim from March 2010 to December 2016 and worked as a clinical science consultant. Chen began the professional journey at Wyeth Pharmaceuticals as a hospital account manager, focusing on the promotion of intravenous antibiotics and launching a subcutaneous injectable product. Earlier roles included serving as a chief scientist in R&D at Pentagenic Pharmaceuticals, where responsibilities involved the discovery and preclinical development of novel cancer drug candidates. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Molecular Biology from the University of Southern California, an MBA in Health Management and Marketing from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business, and a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from the University of Science and Technology of China.
