José Prando

José Prando has extensive work experience in the field of software engineering. José started their career in 2007 as a Programmer at Bio TI Sistemas e Automações, where they were responsible for documentation, implementation, and maintenance of applications. In 2009, they joined Tel Telecomunicações Ltda. as a Full Programmer, developing web portals and applications for internal processes using Java EE, Adobe Flex, and Oracle Database.

In 2011, José joined Solinftec as a Programmer Analyst, where they developed statistical applications in the sugar-cane area using Adobe Flex, Spring, and Oracle Database. José also worked at SENAI SP as a Professional Training Instructor from 2013 to 2014, teaching courses in Computer Science.

José's career progressed to Senior Java Developer roles at Thomson Reuters / Softway, where they focused on foreign trade software, and at Rapiddo, a delivery company. At Rapiddo, they worked on improving platform scalability and availability using technologies like Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, Cassandra, and Docker. José also worked on driver tracking quality improvement using Cassandra and Amazon Web Services.

From 2015 to 2017, José worked as a Software Engineer (Remote) at VoteCircle, a US-based startup focused on US politics. José was responsible for installing and managing a Cassandra cluster, implementing business rules in the backend using Java/Spring, and integrating with various Amazon services.

José's most recent roles include Senior Backend Developer at iFood, where they contributed to the development of the food delivery system, and Senior Software Engineer at QuintoAndar, where they worked on software development.
