Samuel Simões

Samuel Simões has a diverse work experience in the field of software development and project management. Samuel started their professional journey as a Scientific Initiation student at the Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia de Pernambuco (IFPE - Campus Recife) in 2018.

In 2019, Samuel joined RobôCIn, a robotics group at the Centro de Informática, UFPE, as a Project Manager. Samuel was responsible for managing projects in the Line Follower category and developed strategies, interfaces using React and Node.js, and firmware in C++. Samuel held this position until December 2021.

In 2020, Samuel briefly worked as a Mobile Developer at Praxe Cosméticos from August to September.

From March to August 2021, Samuel worked at TrackingTrade as a Front-End Web Developer, specializing in React.

In 2021, they joined Zeropay as a Junior Full Stack Developer, where they worked on various projects using React, React Native, and Node.js. Samuel held this position until July 2022.

Most recently, starting in July 2022, Samuel is working as a Junior Software Engineer at Gringo.

Throughout their career, Samuel has gained experience in software development, project management, and front-end and mobile development.

Samuel Simões has a strong educational background in the field of engineering. From 2015 to 2018, they attended the Instituto Federal de Pernambuco, where they obtained a technical degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Subsequently, from 2019 to 2024, Samuel enrolled at the Universidade Federal de Pernambuco, pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering.

In addition to their formal education, Samuel also obtained various certifications to enhance their skillset. In January 2021, they completed the "Curso Reaprendizagem Criativa" and the "Curso Técnicas de Criatividade" at Keep Learning School. Furthermore, in July 2020, Samuel participated in the third edition of "Mega Hack - Desafio AMBEV" organized by Shawee, where they obtained valuable experience and knowledge.
