In the past, unless your team or coach had an expensive sticky pad, you were out of luck. 

Grip Spritz created a market - Basketball Shoe Grip Spray! It's 'Traction in a Bottle' that athletes can bring with them wherever they play. If the court isn't cleaned and your coach doesn't have anything for the team, you still have a personalized solution.

This quickly evolved into reinventing the traction mat market. Sticky pads are old and outdated. After stepping on the sticky surface and removing the dust, dirt, and debris from the soles of the shoes, they just collected more. 

Every player wanted a new sheet, and this quickly added up. Not only in cost, but also in plastic waste.

Consistent travel to state-wide athletic director conferences and basketball coaches' clinics quickly made Grip Spritz a household name in the coaching world.

In our first four years, Grip Spritz has been named the 'Official Traction Aid' of five different coaches' associations. Ohio, Indiana, North Carolina, Washington, and Southern California.

This garnered attention from the right places. Mainly, the National High School Basketball Coaches' Association. Grip Spritz then claimed their endorsement nationwide.

Finally, we needed to solve the root of the problem - dusty courts. 

The Grip Spritz Court Mop was introduced in 2025. Similar to our reinvention of the sticky pad, we changed how courts are cleaned.
