David Cortés

David Cortés has a long history of work experience, beginning in 2015. In that year, they worked as an Engineering Consulting Intern for Labor Guru. The following year, they worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant for Industrial Assessment Center. In 2017, they worked as a Capstone Student Consultant and Intern for Ryder System, Inc. and held various roles at Mount Sinai Medical Center Miami Beach, including Manager, Senior Management Engineer and Data Lead, Senior Management Engineer, and Management Engineer. Most recently, they have worked as a Data Engineer for Grip since 2022.

David Cortés is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Operations Research at the Georgia Institute of Technology, which they began in 2021. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering and Economics from the University of Miami, which they completed in 2017. David also obtained a High School diploma from Saint George School in 2013. Before that, they attended Alliance Français de Saint Domingue, where they studied Foreign Languages and Literatures, General from 2006 to 2011. In addition, they hold certifications such as Unix Essential Training from LinkedIn (2022), International Baccalaureate Diploma from The International Baccalaureate (2013), Diplôme d'études en Langue Française (DELF) B2 from Centre international d'études pédagogiques (CIEP) (2012), and Six Sigma Green Belt from Institute of Industrial Engineering (IIE) (2016).
