Mike Mace has a diverse work experience in the fields of rehabilitation technology and digital health entrepreneurship. Mike co-founded GripAble, a gamified tool for hand and arm exercises. Prior to that, they worked as a research associate at Imperial College London, where they focused on developing technologies for physical therapy and motor control studies. Mike also served as a group lead for rehabilitation technology projects and supervised multiple student projects. Additionally, Mike participated in the Dubai 100 Digital Health Entrepreneur Programme. Earlier in their career, they worked as a research associate at Imperial College London, specializing in neural signal analysis, and completed their PhD in bioacoustic signal processing.
Mike Mace's education history begins in 1997, when they attended Exeter School. It appears that they did not pursue any specific degree or field of study during their time there. Following this, from 2004 to 2008, Mike attended the University of Bristol, where they obtained a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Mechanical Engineering. After this, from 2008 to 2013, Mike pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Biomedical Engineering at Imperial College London.
