Kyle Mortensen has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Kyle is currently working as the Creative Director at Gripnr, a Web3 technology company focused on bringing tabletop roleplaying games to the blockchain. Prior to this, Kyle founded and served as the Creative Director at NEWSCIENCE, where they led a creative team in providing website design and development, brand identity and development, and original content services to various clients including Live Nation Entertainment, Universal Music Group, and Ubisoft.

Kyle is also a co-founder, guitarist, songwriter, and producer at East of June, a music group that includes Dirk Lance from Incubus. In addition, they have held leadership positions at StreetWise Concepts & Culture, serving as the Vice President of Marketing, and at A.i. Music, where they worked as an Artist Manager and Executive Producer. At StreetWise Concepts & Culture, Kyle managed a team of 10 and helped brands connect with youth culture.

Prior to that, they worked as the General Manager at StreetWise Concepts & Culture, leading a staff of 25 and achieving gross revenues of $3MM. Kyle also worked as an Account Executive at the same company, contributing to client pitch meetings and closing deals with major brands such as Coca-Cola, Sprite, and Sony Playstation.

Before their roles at StreetWise Concepts & Culture, Kyle worked as the Marketing and Promotions Manager at URB Magazine, creating campaigns for brands like Nike and artists like Paul Oakenfold. Kyle also gained experience as the Street Team & Project Manager at Asylm Marketing/Insane Artist Management and as a Field Rep and Office Intern at Immortal Records.

Kyle's career began as a Street Team member for the band Incubus, where they executed youth marketing initiatives and worked as an independent sales representative for Red Eye Records.

Kyle Mortensen attended Oak Park High School from 1992 to 1994, where they studied Art/Art Studies, General. Kyle then transferred to Brighton High School, where they obtained their High School Diploma in Art/Art Studies, General between 1994 and 1996.
