Artem Bei

Artem Bei has a diverse work experience in software engineering. Artem started their career at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv as a Software Engineer from July 2009 to May 2012. Artem then joined YouScan, a leading social media monitoring and analytics tool, where they developed the UI/UX part of the project and supported highload Node from June 2012 to May 2015.

After that, Artem worked at Trinity Mirror plc / Ciklum as a Software Engineer, where they played a role in developing the Eyewitness app for iPhone and Android. Artem worked on the mobile API and implemented the administrative part of the SaaS, including core business logic, management UI, real-time messaging, media handling, and billing. Their tenure at Trinity Mirror plc / Ciklum lasted from May 2015 to October 2016.

Artem then joined glomex GmbH as a Senior Software Engineer. Artem contributed to the development of the Glomex Global Media Exchange, an international marketplace for premium video content, from November 2016 to November 2018.

Currently, Artem is working at Grips Intelligence as a Senior Software Engineer. Artem has experience in using technologies and approaches such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, PostgreSQL, GraphQL, AWS Stack, Terraform, and Circle CI. Artem has been part of the company since November 2018 and is currently serving as the Software Engineering Lead.

Artem Bei obtained their Master's degree in Applied Physics from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, where they studied from 2007 to 2013. In 2011, they also attended the Cisco Networking Academy at KNU for a brief period, focusing on CCNA Exploration.
