Kyle Roche has a diverse and extensive work experience in various tech-related roles. Kyle currently serves as the Founder and CEO of Griptape, a position they assumed in May 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Amazon Web Services (AWS) as the General Manager from July 2022 to April 2023.

From 2015 to 2022, they held multiple roles at AWS, including Head of Immersive Technology, General Manager of Amazon Sumerian & AWS Thinkbox, and General Manager of Internet of Things.

In 2011, they founded 2lemetry, an Internet of Things platform and technology company that was eventually acquired by Amazon. Before that, they founded Isidorey, LLC, a Machine to Machine platform company that was later acquired by Eurotech SPA.

Kyle Roche also had experience working at Appirio as the Head of Enterprise, Central Region, and at Network Appliance as a Senior Systems Management Architect. Kyle started their career as a Principal Consultant at NorthWind Consulting Services and also worked at Gap Inc. and Florida Power and Light in various roles.

From 1995 to 1999, Kyle Roche attended The University of New Mexico, where they studied Mathematics.
