Bessie Wright is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in event planning and management. As the Owner and Wedding and Event Planner at NY Wedding And Events since October 2014, Bessie has transformed the business from its former identity, Diamond Star Ceremonies, while continuing to specialize in wedding and event planning. Additionally, Bessie has been a Seafood/Meat Manager at Gristedes/Red Apple Group since September 2001, where a passion for providing customers with fresh meat and seafood is evident. Previous experience includes a role as a Record Room Clerk at the Board of Education NYC in 1997, assisting with student achievement records, and serving in loss prevention at Strawberry from 1993 to 1995. Educational credentials include a certification as a wedding and event planner from QC School of Event and Wedding Planning and a high school diploma from John Adams High School.
