Lissa Van Peer is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in legal and parliamentary roles. Since October 2018, Lissa has served as a Parlementair medewerker for An Moerenhout at Groen. Prior to this position, Lissa worked as an Advocaat sociaal recht at Stroobants-Buelens from January 2018 to October 2018. Lissa also gained valuable insights into human rights issues during an internship at Amnesty International in late 2015, focusing on research and advocacy for refugee rights. Earlier in 2015, Lissa interned at the Belgian Embassy in Hanoi, where responsibilities included political research, speech writing, and event organization. Lissa holds two Master's degrees from Ghent University in Conflict and Development (2016-2017) and International Law and Legal Studies (2013-2016), as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from the same institution, complemented by an Erasmus exchange program at Université catholique de Louvain in 2013-2014.
