Vice President, Acquisitions at Groma

Michael Rosenstein has a diverse work experience in the real estate industry. Michael currently holds the position of Vice President, Acquisitions at Groma since 2021, where they are responsible for leading the acquisitions team. Prior to this, they worked at Berkshire from 2015 to 2021, starting as an Analyst, Strategy & Business Development and later being promoted to Senior Associate, Acquisitions. During their time at Berkshire, they sourced, analyzed, structured, and closed multifamily real estate investments across various regions in the United States. Additionally, they were involved in product development, business development, and provided analysis support for strategic planning. Before joining Berkshire, Michael worked at Hackman Capital Partners, LLC as a Senior Associate, Portfolio Management from 2014 to 2015, where they performed acquisition due diligence and developed financial analysis tools. Michael also had internship experiences at Global Logistic Properties (GLP) and Cushman & Wakefield. In 2012, they interned as a Debt Program Analyst at Koss REsource. Prior to these roles, Michael worked at Hackman Capital Partners, LLC as an Associate in the areas of acquisitions, asset management, and project management from 2007 to 2011. Overall, Michael Rosenstein has demonstrated expertise in acquisitions, portfolio management, and strategic planning within the real estate industry.

Michael Rosenstein has a Master of Global Management (MGM) degree from Thunderbird School of Global Management. Michael also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Arizona - Eller College of Management. Additionally, they have completed coursework in Real Estate at the University of California, Los Angeles - Extension. Michael obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science and Business Administration from the University of Denver. Moreover, they have studied Political Science at the University of Exeter.
