Andy Rock

Andy Rock is an accomplished engineer with a focus on compiler and deep learning technologies. Currently serving as a Staff Compiler Engineer at Groq since August 2025, Andy has extensive experience in various engineering roles, previously holding positions such as Staff Deep Learning Engineer and Senior Deep Learning Engineer at Untether AI from February 2021 to July 2025. Additional experience includes roles as a Machine Learning Engineer at Rave, a Software Engineer at multiple organizations including Untether AI, Google, and The Hospital for Sick Children, and a Software Developer at D2L. Andy began a career in technology as an Audio Engineer at WeMesh. Andy holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Waterloo, completed in 2020.
