Eugene Sha

Eugene Sha is a skilled software engineer currently employed at Groq since October 2022. Previously, Eugene co-founded xCelleration, initially focusing on brain-computer interfaces and leading a team to develop a patented hardware MVP for pharmaceutical analytics. Other notable experience includes software engineering roles at Intel Corporation, where Eugene was involved in deep learning acceleration and performance analysis, and an internship at the former Altera division focusing on HDL compiler performance. Early career experience also includes tutoring in mathematics and physics and contributions as an undergraduate research assistant at the University of Toronto. Eugene holds a Master of Applied Science and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Engineering, both from the University of Toronto.
