Leandro Chua

Leandro Chua is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in hardware systems engineering. Currently serving as the Director of Hardware Systems Engineering at Groq since October 2025, Leandro previously held various leadership roles at SambaNova Systems, including Director of Hardware Systems and Senior Manager of Hardware Systems, from July 2018 to October 2025. Prior to that, Leandro worked at Oracle as a Senior Principal Signal Integrity Engineer and in other roles from February 2010 to July 2018, and at Sun Microsystems as a Senior Staff SI Engineer from April 2004 to February 2010. Leandro holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
