Matt Eng is an accomplished finance executive currently serving as Vice President of Finance at Groq since January 2025. Previously, Matt held the position of Head of Global Operations for Customer Experience and Success at VMware Tanzu, where responsibilities included overseeing business operations for a $1 billion CXS business and advising executives. Matt also led the Global Service Operations for VMware Tanzu Labs, driving significant growth in a $200 million consulting business post-acquisition by VMware. At Pivotal Software, Matt optimized the corporate real estate portfolio and significantly increased revenue through strategic expansions. Academically, Matt holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Babson College and an MBA in Finance from Bentley University.
