Mohamed Eldafrawy is an accomplished engineer with extensive experience in compiler engineering and deep learning acceleration. Currently serving as a Sr. Staff Compiler Engineer at Groq since February 2022, Mohamed previously worked at Intel Corporation as a Deep Learning Acceleration Engineer from February 2020 to January 2022. Mohamed's academic background includes a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Toronto, complemented by various teaching assistant roles at the university across multiple courses. Additional experience includes a Bachelor Thesis at Ruhr University Bochum and a Junior Teaching Assistant position at The German University in Cairo. Mohamed also completed an internship as a Network Engineer at Advanced Computer Technology and participated in an exchange semester at Ulm University.
