Steve Trieu

Steven Trieu is a General Partner and Group CFO for Social Capital. He is responsible for overseeing its venture funds, proprietary investments, and wholly owned subsidiaries. He has been involved with technology companies for over 20 years, both as an operator and an investor.

Mr. Trieu was previously Vice President of Finance at Quora, Inc., where he was responsible for all general and administrative functions, including finance, legal, facilities, and IT, and helped the company raise its Series B and Series C financings. Before joining Quora, Mr. Trieu served as Director of Finance at Facebook, where he built and led the company's initial Business Operations and Sales Finance functions. His team supported 50 times organic revenue growth and the expansion of its sales channels. Mr. Trieu started his technology career at Yahoo!, where he held several business operations roles across its Search and Marketplace properties. Before entering the technology industry, Mr. Trieu was an Associate at a fixed income derivatives hedge fund and an Investment Banking Associate at Banc of America Associates, now Merrill Lynch.

Mr. Trieu earned a B.A. degree in Economics and a B.B.A. degree in Finance from The University of Massachusetts Amherst.
