We rethink impact and create projects that benefit every stakeholder. Our Groundbreaker Talents initiative in Uganda offers young women from financially constrained communities the opportunity to undergo an intensive one-year training program in Software Engineering. During this period, the participants live on our campus, fully immersing themselves in the training. This residential learning approach equips them with all the necessary skills to pursue entry-level positions in the IT sector and launch their careers in tech. 

The scholarships for this program are funded by various companies, investment funds, and private individuals. Through our mentorship program, employees from these firms can become directly involved and guide the talents along their journey. Furthermore, by fostering interactions between scholars and mentors, we encourage openness—one of the key pillars for increasing diversity in the tech industry.

With this program, we aim for a dual impact: providing a sustainable path out of poverty and promoting a more diverse talent pipeline in tech.
