Make the underground visible.

We make sense of the underground. From field capture to actionable decisions, GroundedAI is the connected workflow for mining, tunnelling, and engineering consulting teams.

GroundedAI began as a technology and field services company, deploying hardware and software alongside mining and tunnelling teams on active sites. The proximity to the problem revealed the real bottleneck wasn't bad data. It was disconnected workflows that prevented data from becoming decisions.

In 2025, we made the deliberate shift to a hardware-agnostic, software-only platform. Two tools, one connected platform, built for the teams who work below the surface every day.

20+ combined years at the face. 3 industries served.

GroundedAI platform

🪨 Lithos is our iPad-based field capture. Fully offline. Built for underground environments with no signal, no Wi-Fi, no compromise on data quality.

📊 Strata is our Web platform for visualization, georeferencing, and reporting. Structural data exports directly into modelling tools like Leapfrog Works.

→ Denser datasets. Every observation becomes a usable data point.
→ Same-day feedback loops. Field data reaches your model the day it's captured.
→ No transcription error. Digital capture removes the interpretation layer between field and office.

Whether it's mapping ore bodies or de-risking tunnel projects, GroundedAI turns complex data into clear, objective decision-making.

Trusted by teams at iC, Delve Underground, Terrane Geoscience, Schnabel Engineering, and Hatch.
