Senior Lines Engineer at GROUNDLINE

Bara Baraneedaran is a seasoned Senior Lines Engineer at Groundline Engineering, where responsibilities include the development and implementation of the THOR Pole Test, non-destructive integrity testing of Timber Utility Poles, and corrosion measurements of Stobie poles, among other tasks since January 2011. Prior to this role, Bara served as a Post Graduate Research Student at Swinburne University of Technology, conducting advanced studies on stress wave propagation in materials. Earlier experience includes working as a Consulting/Design Engineer at Central Engineering Consultancy Bureau, where design and analysis of medium span bridges were performed according to BS Standards. Bara holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Civil Engineering from Swinburne University of Technology and a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Civil Engineering from the University of Moratuwa.
