Groundwork Talent is a Canadian talent advisory and recruitment firm.

Most hiring processes don’t fail because of talent.

They fail because the role isn’t clearly defined, stakeholders aren’t aligned, and expectations shift mid-process.

That’s where we focus.

We work with HR and hiring leaders to bring clarity before going to market. That includes defining the role properly, aligning internal stakeholders, and providing real market insight on what’s achievable.

We support leadership teams across construction, infrastructure, engineering, and financial services, as well as corporate environments where hiring decisions carry real operational or commercial risk, not just headcount.

We’ve seen firsthand how small misalignments early on can slow down or derail hiring processes entirely, which is why we focus on getting the decision right before anything goes to market.

Once that’s clear, we run the search.

If it’s not clear, we’ll say so early.

We support both permanent and contract hiring.

We operate across Canada, supporting teams in major markets including Toronto, Calgary, Vancouver, and Ottawa.

Our model is simple.

Focused mandates, more attention, better decisions.
