Mike Bloomberg

Mike Bloomberg's work experience includes being a Co-Founder at Groundwork Data, where they are committed to accelerating a clean, equitable, and resilient energy transition. Mike has also worked as a Visiting Researcher, Urban Technology at the Jacobs Technion-Cornell Institute, conducting research at the intersection of city administration and energy systems transformation. In their role as Chief of Staff to the Mayor at the City of Holyoke, Bloomberg served as the Mayor's liaison to multiple departments and led various initiatives to deliver a progressive social and economic agenda. Mike has also been a candidate for Massachusetts House of Representatives and has worked at Bridgewater Associates, Kora Management LP, and the United States Olympic Committee in various roles.

Mike Bloomberg has a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and International Relations, which they obtained from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2008-2012. Mike pursued Graduate Studies at the same university in 2015-2016, but the field of study is unspecified. In 2017-2018, they completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management at Cornell Tech. Additionally, in 2015, they gained expertise in full-stack web development using Python at PDX Code Guild.
