Andy Lam is a data analyst at GroundWork Renewables and a CELI Fellow for 2025 at the Clean Energy Leadership Institute. Previously, Andy worked as an engineer in project solutions at The AES Corporation, where responsibilities included developing technoeconomic optimization models for solar projects, conducting sensitivity analyses, and performing energy capacity estimations. A former performance engineer at Blue Ridge Power, Andy utilized PVsyst software for energy production modeling and developed statistical tools for measuring clipping losses. Additional experiences include project engineering internships at Standard Solar, a finance campaign internship with the Chief Justice Cheri Beasley Committee, and co-op positions in research and development at WestRock Company and Bosch USA. Andy holds a Bachelor of Science in Materials Science and Engineering from North Carolina State University and is currently enrolled at the University of Miami School of Law.
