James Patterson

James grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma here he spent much of his time biking, swimming and fighting with his older sister and brother; he still enjoys all three activities. Being the son of two teachers, not going to college was not an option, so after high school he was off to St. Louis to study Media Communications and Theatre Arts.

After spending more time than was necessary in college, he worked for the Marriott Hotel as a Banquet Captain and finally graduated. In 1992 he headed out to Los Angeles to pursue the impossible dream.

After three screenplays, a movie spot and a sitcom, James began working in the Special FX industry as a Purchasing Manager and Shipping Coordinator. He now spends his working hours at the GroundWork Shop in Panorama City.

He still loves biking, swimming, reading and writing. James truly believes the music died when Prince, his favorite musician, passed away. He digs his music. A Lot.
