Head Of Delivery & Learning at Groundwork

Andy Harrison has had extensive work experience in the nonprofit sector, primarily with Groundwork. Andy started with Groundwork as a Programmes Support staff in January 2005 and gradually progressed to higher positions within the organization. Andy has held roles such as Programmes Assistant, Programmes Officer, Programmes Manager, and Youth, Employment & Skills Manager. In these positions, they were responsible for managing various program portfolios, including budget management, performance management, program evaluation, and relationship management with funders. Andy also played a key role in implementing and delivering a corporate partnership program with Cadbury, worth £3 million, which involved organizing community games events. From 2013 to 2015, Andy managed a team focused on youth unemployment and worked on supply chain management, quality assurance, evaluation, and payment by results contracts. From 2015 to the present, they have been the Head of Contracts, responsible for securing, implementing, and managing programs and contracts across all thematic areas, as well as managing a team of program managers, quality specialists, and business development professionals. Andy is also the designated Safeguarding Lead and Ofsted Nominee at Groundwork. Before joining Groundwork, Andy worked as a Customer Services Officer at The Law Society from August 2002 to December 2004.

Andy Harrison attended the University of Leeds from 1999 to 2001, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Management.
