Groundwork
Ian Morris is an experienced professional currently serving as the Community Programme Manager at Groundwork, where responsibilities include coordinating various community projects focused on engagement, urban space design, and behavior change initiatives. Since 2018, Ian has also taken on the role of primary carer and home educator while actively leading local sustainability efforts through the initiative Sustainable Thornton Heath. Previously, Ian held positions such as Overseas Projects Manager at Fullwell Mill Ltd, advancing project design and management in international development, and Head of Financial Services at Homeless International, where significant contributions were made to financial facilities for slum dwellers. Ian has a background in organizational development with Gono Kalyan Sangstha and began a career in programme management engineering at BAE Systems. Ian holds a BSc (Hons) in Construction Management from The University of Manchester and a HND in Business Administration and Manufacturing Engineering from Staffordshire University.
