Groundwork
Karen Tozer is an experienced programme manager with a strong background in community development and environmental improvement. Since November 2011, Karen has been working at Groundwork, driving sustainable social and economic regeneration through partnership initiatives. Previous roles include events and fundraising coordinator at Echoes Foundation, project consultant at arc architectural centre, and freelance research and evaluation designer. Notable positions also include project manager for the Walking with Wilberforce Heritage Trail and senior development officer at Preston Road NDC, where Karen successfully developed community participation strategies and managed impactful projects. Educational qualifications include a BA (Hons) in Strategic Economics and Sociology from Humberside University and an accelerated degree from the University of Hull in Strategic Economics, Management, and Sociology.
