Melissa Taylor is a seasoned professional in community health and rehabilitation, currently serving as the Community Health Building Project Manager at Groundwork since May 2022. Melissa has extensive experience in patient representation and advocacy, volunteering with Greater Manchester Health & Social Care Devolution and NHS England as a Patient & Parent Voice Rep, where independent judgement and patient-centered discussions are fundamental. As a co-founder and trustee of Diversions Family Support Network, Melissa supports families with children facing bladder or bowel issues, organizing engaging events and networking with health professionals. Previous roles include health linkworker at Bolton Carers Support and Get Active Community Worker for Bolton Council, with a solid foundation in physical activity promotion from earlier positions in various health organizations. Academic qualifications include an MSc in Sports Rehabilitation from The University of Bolton and a BSc in Sports Science from St. Martin's College.
