Lin Wei

Lin Wei has a strong background in automotive engineering and management. Starting in 2005, they worked as a Lead Inspection Engineer at Fujian Inspection and Research Institute for Product Quality. In 2007, Lin became the Section Leader of Vehicle Testing at Fujian Benz Automotive Co., Ltd., where they organized the vehicle testing team. In 2012, they joined Volvo Cars as the Manager of Proving Ground Testing & Test Vehicle Management, overseeing complete vehicle tests and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders. Lin's most recent role, starting in 2018, is with Group Lotus as the Head of Validation, leading prototype build and test/validation activities. They have also held other positions at Group Lotus, including Team Manager of Vehicle Integration & Software and Product Management (Sr. Director) of Vehicle Engineering. Lin Wei has a comprehensive understanding of vehicle engineering, organizational development, and agile transformation.

Lin Wei completed a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering at Fuzhou University from 1999 to 2003. Subsequently, Lin Wei pursued a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the same university from 2007 to 2010.
