Emil Nilsson

Emil Nilsson is an accomplished data professional currently serving as SVP of Data at group.one since May 2021, previously holding the role of Director of Data at the same company. Emil has extensive experience in data strategy, analytics, and infrastructure, managing a cross-functional team of 15 data experts and successfully implementing advanced technologies such as Snowflake and DBT. Prior to group.one, Emil worked at one.com as Head of Data and had a significant tenure at Telenor, where responsibilities included the development of crucial churn models and network optimization initiatives. Emil's career also includes roles at Novo Nordisk A/S and Gambro, alongside freelance web consulting and leadership in the Swedish Armed Forces. With a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering and Management from Lund University and international study experience at the National University of Singapore, Emil combines strong analytical expertise with adept project leadership.
