Josh Pender, Ph.D., serves as a Senior Field Application Engineer at Group14 Technologies since January 2024, following a tenure at Milwaukee Tool from September 2020 to December 2023, where Pender held the positions of Senior Battery Engineer and Battery Engineer. Pender completed a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry at The University of Texas at Austin, where the doctoral thesis focused on "Insights into Constructing Energy Dense Battery Electrodes with Lightweight Carbon Materials."
