Mohammad Asif

Mohammad Asif is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in compliance and internal auditing. Currently serving as the Compliance Manager at Group 1 Automotive since July 2014, Mohammad engages with the Business System Development team to create an in-house audit module and documents finance policies to enhance process efficiency and internal controls. Previously, as a Senior Internal Auditor, Mohammad led comprehensive audits, evaluated internal controls, and provided actionable recommendations. Prior experience includes roles as an Internal Auditor and IT Auditor at Goodman Manufacturing, where internal audit scopes were developed, and compliance assessments were conducted, as well as Internal Auditor at USPh - U.S. Physical Therapy, Inc., focusing on management and internal accounting controls. Mohammad began professional career as a Sales and Use Tax Analyst at Arthur Andersen, LLP. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems and Finance from the University of Houston, along with a Bachelor's in Commerce, majoring in Accounting from the University of Sindh.
