Eric Schuler

Eric Schuler is currently the Procurement & Technical Director at Groupe Berto. Prior to this, they were the Directeur des Achats Groupe at Groupe Trouillet from September 2018 to February 2020. Before that, they were the Directeur du Développement Commercial et Technique at FRANCE FROID DEVELOPPEMENT from December 2015 to September 2018. In this role, they were responsible for implementing the logistics cold chain in urban and peri-urban areas to distribute food and pharmaceutical products in compliance with health standards.

As the strategic development director between France and Colombia (pilot country), their role was to bring and convince all the players in the field to open their activities outside of Europe to some destination in Latin America (manufacturers of refrigeration units, coachbuilders, telematics, automobile manufacturers and carriers), to negotiate economic conditions (LLD purchases and constructions), to source their main local interlocutors for their implementations, to build the corresponding Business Plans (Groupe Jacky Perrenot / Philippe Givone) and to set up the financial budgets and financing with BPI France, AFD and European Funds allocated to Colombia.

Eric was the commercial and operational contact (reengineering of process) of French companies present in Colombia such as the EXITO group (French-Colombian subsidiary of the Casino group), Sodexo, Sanofi, and Colombian companies such as UNIBAN and Alqueria (Danone).

Eric developed institutional relationships with the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs as well as the French Ministries of Agriculture, Industry and Health.

Eric presents the progress made during the semiannual plenary sessions of the Franco-Colombian Strategic Committee (presided over by Mr. Antoine Frérot for France and our main sponsor). The file was also presented to Bercy during the visit of Colombian President Santos to France in June 2017.

Their manager is Norbert Zoppi, Chairman. Eric Schuler works with Jean-François Bardy - Commercial Director, Yvan Walter - Île-de-France Regional Director, and Fanny Techer - Human Resources Director.
