Alin Grecu

Alin Grecu is a Senior DevOps Engineer at Shift One since January 2022, specializing in the creation and maintenance of AWS EKS infrastructure for a SaaS platform using Terraform and SaltStack, as well as setting up preview environments in GitLab with GitLab CI/CD and ArgoCD. Prior experience includes a role as a DevOps Engineer at Hootsuite from September 2019 to January 2022, focusing on migrating from self-hosted MongoDB to MongoDB Atlas and managing Kubernetes clusters powered by EKS. Alin also held a DevOps Engineer position at Sparktech Software from June 2017 to August 2019, where responsibilities included designing CI/CD solutions for Ruby on Rails applications and Dockerizing existing applications. Additionally, Alin served as a Mentor for the SysOps Track at Digital Nation, creating admission challenges and teaching Linux server administration basics, after completing the SysOps Track as a student at DevAcademy. Alin graduated with a Licenta in Ingineria sistemelor from the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest in 2018.
