Vu Lam has a wealth of experience in the technology industry. Vu is the Founder and CEO of Katalon since February 2017 and the Founder and Chairman of Grove HR since December 2019. Vu is also an Endeavor Vietnam Board Member since January 2019. In addition, Vu Lam was a Founder and Board Member of Kobiton since November 2016. Before establishing these companies, they founded and served as the Chairman of KMS Technology, a software development company based in Vietnam, since 2008. Prior to KMS, Vu Lam was the Founder of QASymphony from October 2011 to June 2018. Vu also served as the VP Offshore Services at First Consulting Group from 2003 to 2007 and as the Co-Founder and Partner at Paragon Solutions, LLC from 1995 to 2003. Vu Lam started their career at Bell Labs as an MTS from June 1989 to August 1995.

Vu Lam obtained their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 1989. Vu then pursued further education at Purdue University and acquired a Master's degree (MSEE) in Electrical Engineering in 1990.
