Grow the Flow is a citizen-led movement working to protect and restore Utah's beloved Great Salt Lake through science, storytelling, civic action, and policy advocacy.

As the Great Salt Lake continues to decline, the consequences reach far beyond the shoreline. The health of the lake is tied to Utah’s air quality, wetlands, wildlife, snowpack, recreation, economy, and long-term quality of life.

Grow the Flow brings together scientists, students, farmers, faith leaders, community members, businesses, and advocates to build public will and support lasting water solutions for the lake.

Our work focuses on improving water policy, empowering the public, supporting science-based solutions, agreement and compromise that transcends political affiliation, and helping Utahns take meaningful action to get water back to the Great Salt Lake and restore the future of Utah.

Through education, organizing, legislative advocacy, volunteer opportunities, and public engagement, Grow the Flow is helping turn concern for the lake into coordinated action.

We are grateful for other organizations like Grow the Flow that are working to protect Utah’s watersheds, future and the ecosystems, communities, and economies that depend on it.
