Grow Unwind Connect (GUC) is a global wellness initiative dedicated to empowering individuals and communities by providing access to holistic wellness resources, particularly in underserved areas. We believe in nurturing the balance of mind, body, and spirit through the integration of yoga, meditation, mental health practices, and community connections.

Founded by Bobby Jones aka Yoga Bob, a former NBA player and certified yoga instructor, GUC was created with a vision to make wellness accessible to all, regardless of background or financial resources. Built on three key pillars — Grow, Unwind, and Connect — GUC’s mission is to promote physical, mental, and emotional growth, provide stress-relief tools, and foster meaningful community connections.

Our Mission:
GUC’s mission is to spread holistic wellness, mental health advocacy, and personal development through community workshops, retreats, and wellness events, with a focus on underserved populations.

What We Offer:

Wellness Retreats: Our immersive wellness retreats, including the upcoming GUC Italy Wellness Retreat, offer transformative experiences that blend mindfulness, yoga, and relaxation with cultural exploration.

Workshops & Events: We deliver workshops on yoga, breathwork, and mental health to communities, schools, and organizations to foster physical well-being and mindfulness practices.

School Programming: Offering 8 wellness packages to fit any school budget needs. 

Our Reach:
GUC is proud to have a dedicated team of 12 board members located across 2 countries (the U.S. and Italy) and 5 states (California, Washington, Nevada, Texas, and Hawaii). Each board member brings unique expertise and contributes to our collective vision of creating inclusive wellness opportunities for individuals worldwide.
