Star Carter

Star Carter is a Senior Legal Executive with extensive experience in corporate governance, public company and private equity counsel, and M&A. They served as Counsel at Sidley Austin LLP from 2014 to 2017, where they provided legal services and strategic guidance to public and private companies in a growing Dallas office. As General Counsel and COO at Kanarys, Inc. from 2018 to 2022, they co-founded the company, leading its operational and legal strategies while enhancing diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. Currently, Star serves as General Counsel and Strategic Consultant at 10mK and as an Independent Board Director for GrowGeneration Corp, while pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration at The University of Texas at Austin and a J.D. from Harvard Law School.
