Uchit Nair

Uchit Nair has four years of professional experience in data science, engineering, and research. In 2020, they began working as a Data Scientist and Engineer for Growlink. From 2018 to 2020, they were a Graduate Research Associate at The Ohio State University, where they developed a LiDAR-Guided Intelligent Sprayer to improve spray efficiencies in greenhouses using 3D computer vision with a LiDAR sensor. In 2016, they interned at Energy Alternatives India, where they investigated biomass combustion for heat and energy generation to develop a technical guide. Additionally, they interned at Zuppa Geo Nav Tech, where they designed a Lithium-Ion battery pack to replace the existing Li-Po battery pack that was used in Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV). The flight times improved by 65%.

Uchit Nair obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from SRM University between 2014 and 2018. Uchit then pursued a Master's degree in Agricultural Engineering from The Ohio State University between 2018 and 2020. In October 2020, Uchit Nair also obtained a certification in Machine Learning from Coursera.
