Josh Berezin

Josh Berezin has extensive work experience in the field of data-driven campaign strategy and progressive politics. Josh is currently a Lead Strategist and Co-Founder at Grow Progress since October 2021. Prior to this, they served as an Advisor at Grow Progress from May 2020 to October 2021 and as the COO and Co-Founder from December 2017 to May 2020.

In 2020, Josh worked as the Donor Partnerships Lead at Analyst Institute. Josh also briefly worked as a Shooter for the Portland Trail Blazers @ the Rose Quarter in February 2020.

Josh's previous experience includes working at Analyst Institute from 2011 to 2017 in various roles. Josh served as a Strategy Director from October 2015 to October 2017, where they synthesized evidence and developed recommendations for progressive political programs. Josh was also a Training and Outreach Director from January 2014 to October 2015 and a Senior Analyst from May 2011 to January 2014. As a Senior Analyst, they designed and conducted field experiments with progressive campaigns and organizations across the US, popularizing the "Experiment Informed Program" protocol.

Before joining Analyst Institute, Josh worked at Our Oregon as the Director of Data and Targeting from April 2005 to May 2011. In this role, they led Oregon coalition groups in implementing a data-informed campaign approach and conducted numerous experiments on various campaign strategies.

Josh's earliest work experience in the field was as a Data Director at America Coming Together from June 2004 to November 2004.
