Joshua Diamond has a diverse range of work experience spanning multiple industries. Starting in 2009, they interned at the International Business-Government Counsellors, where they covered and wrote reports on various think-tank panels and conducted research for Fortune 500 clients. In 2010, they volunteered at Kibbutz Ketorah, working on environmental projects and managing the communal dining room. In 2012, they held various roles, including Finance/Call-time Assistant for Keld Roys for Congress and Finance Fellow/Campaign Scheduler for Lois Frankel for Congress. Joshua also worked as a Data/Research Fellow for the Voter Information Project at the New Organizing Institute. From 2012 to 2013, they were a Research Assistant at The Saylor Foundation, focusing on copyright permissions and quality assurance. In 2013, they joined The Atlas Project and democratic GAIN as a Data & Targeting Fellow, before becoming a Director of Data & Technology. At Rad Campaign, starting in 2017, Joshua worked as a Full Stack Web Developer. Currently, they are the Senior Director of Engineering at Grow Progress, leading a team of engineers focused on developing persuasion technology software.
Joshua Diamond received their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in International Relations from American University. Joshua attended American University from 2006 to 2010. During the same period, they also studied at the School of International Studies within American University, specializing in International Studies and Middle East politics. Prior to attending American University, they briefly enrolled at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem's Rothberg International School in 2005-2006, although the specific degree and field of study are not provided. Additionally, in January 2014, they obtained a certification in Computing for Data Analysis from Coursera.
