John Clark

John Clark has extensive experience in site reliability engineering and IT operations, currently serving as Senior Director of Runtime Engineering at Grubhub since July 2014. In this role, John oversees the Runtime SRE Organization and the Database Reliability Engineering Organization, ensuring database stability and operational efficiency. Previously, as Director of Site Reliability Engineering, John established a cohesive SRE and EOE framework across the organization and led the development of dedicated SRE teams for critical business areas. John's career at Grubhub began as Senior Site Reliability Engineer, where John contributed to the architecture of the Delivery Logistics platform. Prior to Grubhub, John worked as Senior Systems Administrator at Cappex.com, managing IT operations for a hybrid infrastructure that supported over 5 million users.
