Tharush Jayananda

Tharush Jayananda has a strong background in project management and delivery performance. Tharush worked as Head of Delivery at Grubtech, where they oversaw a team of 100+ engineering staff across multiple locations. Tharush implemented an agile framework to improve efficiency and implemented process optimization strategies. Prior to Grubtech, they were a Program Manager at Texus Solutions, responsible for delivery and PMO oversight. Tharush also co-founded Eco Friends SL and served as Chief Design/ Product Officer. In their role at Embla Software Innovation, they started as a Content Manager/ Scrum Master and eventually became the Design Lead/ Product Owner, providing leadership to a team of designers and developers. Tharush also has experience as a UI/UX Consultant and Multimedia Specialist. Tharush has expertise in branding, wireframes, concepts, taxonomy, navigation, layout, data visualization, and UI design.

In 2009-2010, they obtained a Professional Graduate Diploma in IT from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT.

From 2012-2013, they pursued an HND in Multimedia Design - Edexcel Interactive Media at edexcel International by Pearson UK.

In 2019-2020, Tharush completed their Master's in Information Technology from Cardiff Metropolitan University.

From 2021-2022, they pursued a Master's in Project Management at the University of Bedfordshire.

Additionally, Tharush holds several certifications including Agile Project Leadership from LinkedIn (obtained in February 2023), Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®) from Scrum Alliance (obtained in February 2018), and Certified Scrum Master® (CSM®) also from Scrum Alliance (obtained in April 2015).
