John Kaasgaard is an accomplished cybersecurity and software development professional with extensive experience in both IT and operational technology. Since April 2007, John has been with GRUNDFOS, currently serving as Lead Cyber Security Architect, focusing on cybersecurity through the implementation of ISO 27001 and IEC 62443 standards. Previously, John held roles including Lead Specialist Software and Software Developer, contributing to LPWAN technologies and software reuse initiatives. Previous experience includes positions at Thrane & Thrane as a System Designer, and Telital R&D as a System Developer specializing in Bluetooth technology, among others.
