Aliya Mood is a seasoned graphic designer and design leader with extensive experience in managing design teams and delivering compelling visual narratives. As the Design Team Leader at The Arizona Republic, Aliya oversaw design teams for over 30 publications and art directed the Pulitzer Prize-winning series “The Wall.” Currently, as a Freelance Graphic Designer through Aliya Mood Designs, strategic execution of brand systems and collaborative work with business stakeholders are prioritized. Previous roles include graphic design positions at Grüns and PHAT, teaching at Arizona State University, and art direction at the Indiana Daily Student and Gannett | USA TODAY NETWORK. Aliya holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from Indiana University.
